Microwave ablation is a minimally invasive treatment technique in which a microwave ablation needle is percutaneously inserted into tumor tissue under the guidance of imaging such as ultrasound and CT. Polar molecules in the tissue move at high speed under the action of microwave electromagnetic fields, rubbing against each other to generate heat. When the center of the ablation needle in the tumor rapidly heats up to 45 ℃~65 ℃, cancer cell proteins undergo complete degeneration and necrosis, thus achieving the therapeutic goal. It is suitable for solid tumors such as liver cancer, lung cancer, pulmonary nodules, breast tumors, uterine fibroids, renal cancer, thyroid nodules, and bone tumors.
